'Deeds not Words' Broom Latte Mug 12oz/ 340ml

8.00

The broom is a symbol of humility in traditional heraldry. As a cleaning implement it would traditionally be associated with domestic chores and therefore of women and the lower classes. Paired with the slogan ‘Deeds not Words’ the implication of the broom is that some of the ways people help to show their intentions are small simple tasks.

Iconic images taken after London riots in 2011 show that people brought their brooms and dustpans from home, pitching in to clear up the streets after the chaos. Communities acting as a group, but individuals doing their bit. The broom now holds this symbolism.

Mugs hold 12oz/ 340ml of your chosen beverage or a couple of handfuls of candies (no judgement).
