Sally studied Printed Textile Design and creates digital and screen printed designs, often embellishing them with embroidery.
'Olders' Project - Themed around issues faced by older people in Britiain such as loneliness and isolation, mobility, health, confusion and loss of independence and control. Working 'wrong handed' the subjects of this collection of designs included clocks, worlds and words muddled and dizzied, unglamorous locations and objects elevated into luxurious textiles of silks and velvets. Zimmer frames become a houndstooth pattern, self-service checkouts delicately beaded, the kitchen sink sophistacated silks.
